The best stuff on Thursdays

Being that I am currently unemployed and not partaking in any summer classes, I am evidently a bum. I am the kind of bum that sleeps in until 3 pm on the daily. I am the kind of bum and watches bad t.v. ALL DAY on rainy days (which has been basically everyday for the last few weeks). Part of my bum responsibilities is getting completely addicted to shows, falling in love with sexy men on these shows, and not having a life at all in the process.

A new show called Royal Pains aired two weeks ago on USA. Hank Lawson, played by Mark Feuerstein (who is the sexiest man in my book at the moment), is a young charismatic doctor that loses his job after letting an old (rich) sponsor die whilst saving the life of a younger man. After not leaving his house for weeks Hanks younger brother Evan, played by Paulo Costanzo, takes him to the Hamptons in hopes of cheering him up. During their stay, they attend a millionaire’s party where Hank saves a girls life. This millionaire is impressed by Hanks medical abilities and offers Hank to stay in his guest house and become a private physician to the rich. Hank attempts to deny this offer, but after a few random calls from people in need, he ends up agreeing to stay.

I missed the second episode last week but made up for it by watching it tonight.

I am in love love love with Mark Feuerstein. He is a sex bomb that I want to go off on me O=). This show is rather entertaining because it gives an insight of the lives of the rich. It is also informative and humorous at the same time. Consider me an official fan <3

True Blood

The season two premiere of True Blood finally premiered tonight. I have been waiting for this day since the finale last fall. From my first taste of True Blood I have been addicted to the sexuality and lure of this show. If you’re not updated on this vamp tale I strongly suggest you subscribe to HBO, but otherwise here is a little info:

True Blood is based on the book series The Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris. It is about the existence of vampires becoming public after a synthesized blood was created for them to feed and live off. The main and oh-so-loveable character of this show is Sookie Stackhouse, who happens to carry the gift and curse of being telepathic. Sookie meets and falls in love with (super sexy and delicious) vampire Bill Compton. The show goes on about the difficulties mortals have accepting vampires into their society and the difficulties that arise between Bill & Sookie. I could go on and summarize all of the first season but I think that watching it would be THAT much more entertaining than reading about it. This show is full of what we all love the most- sex. Every episode is just bursting with sexual tension and release ;). Aside from the sex, the actual plot of this show is incredibly compelling. Once you get one dose of True Blood I have a feeling you will be back for more.

The first episode of season two was amazing! I cannot wait for episode DOS next Sunday at 9 pm :)

Response to the previous post...

Mine and Vodka's breakup only lasted a day. I guess our bond is too strong.
The good news is that this time we took it slow and it didn't make me act like a retarded monkey.

Anyway I went to a club last night, where ofcourse I had to run into someone I didn't want to see. This tends to happen a lot when you live in a place like Brooklyn. Where everyone knows each other and knows each other's business. Great place. Or not.

Me&Vodka

...have developed quite the love/hate relationship over the course of my teen years.
My drunk stories are only getting more and more entertaining as time goes by.
From the time I fell on my face when I was 16, till my current present day fiasco.... the lol's just keep getting better and better.
So this past weekend vodka and I went out on a date. We went out to a party where I found out it was cheating on me with many others. This new-found knowledge must have gotten me quite upset because by the end of the night I found myself getting dragged away by my ex boyfriend. Mind you I was bleeding and crying. Very attractive. My lover, vodka, seemed to get the best of me again. In one night I was able to make a complete fool of myself AND hurt someone I care about greatly. Quite an accomplishment I must add.

Oh dear vodka, you never let me down. do you?

Well anyway this is my resignation letter to alcoholism.
I quit until further notice. Sorry Vodka of the world. I think it's time for us to go our separate ways.

The good stuff & the bad stuff

Which one would you prefer first ? I think I'd like to start with the bad so the good can make me happy in the end :)

The Bad Stuff
1. It's been raining for quite some time now. It's raining now. I want it to stop. Right. Now.
2. I might not be able to schedule classes in the college that I'm transferring to for a while, which means my schedule will suck big time :|
3. I keep making bad decisions .....bad bad bad....bad!
4. I lost my dog a few months ago. I had a dream last night that my dad found her. When I woke up I still thought we found her... =(.

The Good Stuff
1. I'm going to Spain in exactly 41 days!
2. I bought a veryyy cute pair of shoes today..shoes keep me happy ..i can never get enough. EVER!
3. I also bought very cute eyeshadow..something I can never get enough of also.
4. Even though #2 on the bad stuff list sucks, I miraculously got into the college I wanted to transfer to. This is miraculous since my application wasn't even complete in the first place.

I know, I know....

I just covered some of the most important topics in the world :)
yes yes shoes & make-up... very important to EVERYONE !

Lobo

My dear friend Alex has been trying her very best to get a few of the girls out on the town for the last few days. We usually hit up our regular joint, which happens to be a thai restaurant named Joya. Words cannot explain how much we love this place. Words cannot explain how much I love this place. It's cheap and delicious and amazing but back to the story; This time Alex wanted to try something new...so we decided to go to the mexican restaurant (Lobo) across the street from Joya....I know we are reallyyyyyyyy adventurous. I've had lunch at this place before so I knew it was good. So off we went and these are the results.

Ode to Chelsea

So I recently finished reading Chelsea Handler's My Horizontal Life and I must say this woman is probably my idol at this point. Not only is she hilarious and has the gift of making up lies on the spot. This book made me make a fool out of myself in public on various occasions because I was laughing so hard at a book in front me. She reminds me a lot of myself and this makes me love her, a lot. After reading her book I get really excited whenever her show "Chelsea Lately" comes on E!.

I suggest every female read this book (unless your a nun) because you will pee your pants. I can't wait to get my hands on her other book Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea. I also hear that she's in the process of writing another book... I'm soooo excited =)

p.s. i<3chelsea =)
